McSweeney and Fay will aggressively represent clients and we are willing to take matters through the court system for resolution if needed. Below are just a few examples of cases in which we prevailed for our clients.
Northrup v. State Farm
A woman that was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident contacted McSweeney & Fay to represent her for her accident. McSweeney & Fay recovered the full insurance policy limits from the motorcycle that the client was a passenger on at the time of the accident, but we did not stop there. The firm found another policy that it believed would further compensate our injured client, but the insurance company refused to pay.
McSweeney & Fay fought the case all the way to the Minnesota Court of Appeals, which ordered State Farm to pay the full policy limits.

State Farm v. Naima Ahmed
When State Farm Insurance refused to pay for an injured woman's medical bills because she was fifteen minutes late for the appointment with the insurance company doctor, McSweeney & Fay took State Farm all the way to the Court of Appeals to make them pay. Helping people fight the insurance companies is what we do at McSweeney & Fay.

Bile v. Nissan Motor Company
A woman lost her eye as a result of an airbag that deployed during a car accident. McSweeney & Fay not only received the full insurance policy limits from the driver of the at-fault vehicle, it then pursued a case against Nissan for a defective design of the airbag. McSweeney and Fay brought suit against Nissan on the injured client's behalf in federal district court. After a motion by Nissan to have the case dismissed was denied by the United States District Court, the case was promptly settled out of court.
